Hello my name is Ben. l am 14 years old and I am an internet addict, l spend at least 7-8 hours online playing games, surfing the net, chatting with friends. So, once I get home from school l lock myself up in my room. As a result I have many arguments with my parents, they tried to stop me by disconnecting the internet but it didn’t work. I know what I am doing is not good. I spend too much time online. I do not get to do my homework and go to school extremely tired. I am getting help form our school counselling service. They are trying to talk me out of my bad habit, still do spend most of my time in my room and on the Net, yet not as much as i used to. Currently l spend about 4 hours a day.
